SimCorp Names Enzo Cotroneo as Australia Country Manager
SimCorp, a subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group, has named Enzo Cotroneo as country manager for Australia with the remit to focus on business development and set the strategic direction for continued growth in Australia.
Based in Sydney, Cotroneo has extensive leadership capabilities that will play a pivotal role in driving SimCorp’s expansion in Australia. The company has been present in the Australian market for more than two decades and has established partnerships with some of the country’s leading asset owners and asset managers.
Cotroneo joins SimCorp from a senior leadership position at HSBC. Prior to HSBC, he held executive positions at Citi and JP Morgan.

DiffusionData, the real-time data streaming and messaging platform vendor, has promoted Neil Seymour to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Previously the Head of Engineering at the company, Seymour brings a wealth of experience from his past roles, including positions at Vizolution and Lexmark Enterprise Solutions.
With over three decades of expertise in system development, integration, and project delivery, particularly in SME technology firms, Seymour specialises in managing complex, business-critical projects and leading business transformation initiatives.
Trading Technologies Strengthens Leadership Team with Three Key Appointments
Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT) has appointed Justin Llewellyn-Jones as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Christopher Heffernan as EVP of Fixed Income, and Alun Green as EVP of Futures & Options. These strategic appointments, with Llewellyn-Jones and Heffernan operating out of New York and Green in London, underscore TT’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and enhancing its expertise across various financial sectors.
Llewellyn-Jones, with nearly three decades in fintech and financial services, will spearhead TT’s market-facing business and multi-asset growth strategies. Previously Chief Operating Officer at Broadridge, he brings extensive experience in derivatives and financial operations. Heffernan, a veteran with over twenty years in fixed income, joins TT after senior tenures at Flow Traders and SumRidge Partners, where he specialized in electronic and algorithmic trading. He is tasked with expanding TT’s global fixed income business. Green, with 24 years’ experience in financial markets and technology, moves from his senior role at Fidelity Information Services (FIS) where he managed derivatives and post-trade securities. His focus at TT will be on growing the futures and options franchise.
FlexTrade Systems Appoints Michael Kovach as Head of Fixed Income Sales in Americas
FlexTrade Systems the multi-asset execution & order management systems vendor, has announced the appointment of Michael Kovach as Head of Fixed Income Sales in the Americas. Kovach, an experienced professional with a 20-year tenure in the FinTech sector, will focus on enhancing FlexTrade’s market position in Fixed Income Electronic Trading Solutions.
He previously served as a Lead Relationship Manager within BlackRock’s Aladdin business and the Head of Fixed Income Sales U.S. at Liquidnet. Based in New York, Kovach’s primary responsibility will be to drive sales and expand the business reach of FlexTrade’s Fixed Income EMS, FlexFI, offering solutions for liquidity aggregation, price discovery, and best execution in the fragmented Fixed Income landscape.

With 25 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry, including product management, technology, sales, and marketing, Pomraning has a proven track record of transforming and growing global businesses and cross-functional teams.
During his career, Pomraning has worked at bulge bracket banks, public companies and private firms, having held senior positions at JP Morgan, Barclays, Lehman Brothers, ITG, Pico, and Elwood Technologies.
Trumid Appoints Jason Quinn as Global Head of Sales Amid Platform Growth
Fixed income electronic trading technology company Trumid has appointed Jason Quinn as its Global Head of Sales. Quinn, a founding member of Trumid’s leadership team and its Chief Product Officer, will now oversee the company’s commercial division, merging product and sales into one strategic unit. The move is intended to further integrate technology, product, and sales to enhance innovation, liquidity, and client experience.
Quinn joined Trumid in 2015 bringing more than 15 years of credit market experience, both from the buy-and sell-side. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Millennium Management and Caxton Associates and has held senior credit trading and management roles at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.
Vista Equity Partners Invests in TRG Screen for Strategic Growth; Leigh Walters Steps Up as New CEO
TRG Screen, the provider of enterprise subscription spend and usage management software, has received a strategic growth investment from Vista Equity Partners (“Vista”), a global investment firm focused exclusively on enterprise software, data, and technology-enabled businesses. TRG Screen will use the capital to accelerate product innovation, talent acquisition, and go-to-market functions.
Leigh Walters has been appointed CEO, and will succeed Steve Matthews, who will assume the role of Executive Chairman after serving as CEO for the past nine years. Matthews will continue to work with Walters and the company’s executive team in driving strategic growth.
RIMM Appoints Former KPMG Sustainability Exec as Adviser
AI-forward ESG data and tech provider RIMM has appointed former KPMG sustainability executive Sue Bonney as a senior adviser. Bonney, who is also an adviser to communications firm Kite Insights and a non-executive director at non-profit responsible leadership mentor Forward Institute, will advise London-based RIMM on integrating ESG into investment strategies.
DTCC Appoints Brian Steele as President of Clearing & Securities Services
DTCC has appointed Brian Steele as the Managing Director, President, Clearing & Securities Services. Starting from October 2, 2023, Steele will oversee all DTCC Clearing and Securities Services areas, such as Equity Clearing, Fixed Income Clearing, and Wealth Management Services. LSEG Appoints Charlie Walker as Deputy CEO of London Stock Exchange
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has appointed Charlie Walker as Deputy CEO of the London Stock Exchange plc. He will also join the LSE plc Board, subject to regulatory approval. Walker will continue to report to Julia Hoggett, CEO of LSE plc to support the daily running of the exchange while continuing to oversee the Group’s primary markets business.
A capital markets specialist, Walker joined LSEG in 2018, having previously worked within J.P. Morgan Cazenove’s Equity Capital Markets team, where he was responsible for originating and executing equity transactions and raising over £45 billion of equity capital on behalf of clients.
