Ari joined Citi in 2011. He is the Services, Markets and Banking Data Governance Officer. Ari’s focus is on continuously improving the quality and usability of business data to introduce new capabilities and to satisfy regulatory mandates. He serves as Citi’s representative to the Enterprise Data Management Council’s Board of Directors. He has more than 25 years of experience in Financial Services, including senior industry and consultancy data management and program management positions. Ari earned an MBA in Finance & Accounting from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BA in International Relations from Colgate University.

Merlin Dowse is an Executive Director and a Global Product Manager within the Core Trade Product team. In this capacity, Merlin leads a global team responsible for the management of digital solutions available to the clients of J.P. Morgan across the globe.
Alongside his role at J.P. Morgan, Merlin is a Vice Chair on the ICC Banking Commission where he both sponsors and chairs the Commercialisation Working Group. Merlin is also a member of the ICC Digital Standards Initiative Advisory Board and an active contributor to both BAFT and ITFA industry associations.
Emma Kalliomaki

Emma Kalliomaki is Managing Director of the Association of ANNA. She is also Managing Director of the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB), an organisation originally founded by ANNA and now working in collaboration with the industry as a fully automated global generator of ISINs, CFIs, and FISNs, for Over the Counter (OTC) derivatives. While Emma has been working as MD, the DSB has been designated by the Financial Stability Board as the sole service provider for the future UPI system supporting the DSB focus on industry requirements to deliver an OTC derivatives identification framework. Emma has over a decade of experience in financial data, standards and regulation, previously also working as head of the London Stock Exchange’s SEDOL Masterfile.
Laura Stanley
Director of Entity Data and Symbology
LSEG
Laura is the Director of Symbology at LSEG, responsible for identifiers like SEDOL, ISIN, RIC, PermID and LEI. She has a background in operational roles and is a board member at ANNA and DBS. Laura also serves as a committee member of BSI, specialising in Security Identification and Reference Data.

Ms. Glasser is leading the Data Strategy & Analytics Practice at FRG, a specialized consulting firm focused on data and risk, and is an Independent Board Member of Oppenheimer & Co, Inc. She has a 30-year track record of implementing innovative solutions and managing organizations in risk, data, and analytics.
Previous to her current position at FRG, Dessa was a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase. During her time there, Ms. Glasser launched the firm’s Capital Stress Testing Analytics team. Then, as its first Chief Data Officer, she built the Chief Data Office for Asset and Wealth Management. Ms. Glasser served as Deputy Director of the Office of Financial Research (US Treasury), supporting the Financial Stability Oversight Council, where she implemented a range of data and risk solutions, including assisting with the launch of the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). Dessa also established the Chief Risk Office for Bunge, as its first Chief Risk Officer. In addition to this experience, she has also held senior positions at Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, IBM, and KPMG. She began her career teaching at Rutgers University.
Ms. Glasser has a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University and holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Fordham University, where she also sits on the Advisory Board for the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She is a recipient of the US Treasury Exceptional Service Award and was listed as a ‘Director to Watch’ in the Directors and Boards 2019 Annual Report. She helped launch and is a Co-lead of the global Women Data Professionals Forum of the EDM Council.
